Online using Teams
This session is for parent carers in Devon, supporting a child with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), who would like to find out more about SEND support.
Whether you’re new to SEND or already on your journey, this session aims to help you
- find sources of information and support about SEND and SEND terms and language
- learn about the main SEND services and how they fit together
- understand different levels of SEN support and what they mean
- get to grips with the graduated response, what that is and what it means for your child’s support
- find out more about working with your child’s school in an assess, plan, do and review type approach
This is a free online session lasting an hour, with the opportunity for questions and discussion for 30 minutes afterwards.
It’s jointly hosted by Sarah Skinner, a DiAS Officer who works on our enquiry line and Sarah Smith, DiAS Information and Training Officer.
Book your place on Ticket Tailor.
