Getting Support

DiAS supports young people directly, or with their parents or carers alongside. How we support will be individual to you. We listen carefully to what you say and try to help in a way that works best for you.

Our Child and Young Persons Workers, Emily and Maria, are here to listen to you. They’ll do their best to get you the information and support you need to make choices and decisions that are right for you. Find out how to contact them here.

Once you’ve made contact they will usually do one of the following:

  • Email you

  • Call you on the phone

  • Arrange a video call

  • Meet you in person at a place you feel comfortable in (for example a café, at home, or at school).

They can talk to you one to one, or with a trusted adult to support you.

Everything you say is confidential. That means we will only tell someone what you’ve said if we’re worried that someone is being hurt or might be hurt.

If we’re unable to help you directly we’ll try to put you in touch with other services and charities that may be able to help.

Contact us and we’ll do our best to help you get the support you need.

Here are some things we've supported young people with over the last year.
